The current UW pay plan

How Partners earn.

Income is never guaranteed. Any £ figures shown illustrate the current UW compensation plan, not expected earnings. What a Partner earns depends on activity, customer retention, qualification and the plan in force at the time.

1. Upfront

Customer Bonus

Partners can earn a one-off Customer Bonus when a personally introduced customer becomes active with at least one live core service. More services generally mean a higher bonus. There is no published cap on how many Customer Bonuses a Partner can earn.

Full Customer Bonus on homeowners, from the current UW Opportunity Guide. Partners can also choose Half CB or opt out, which lowers the upfront payment and starts residual income sooner.

ServicesOne-off CBPRI starts after
1 core service£5024 months
2 core services£10036 months
3 core services£25060 months
4+ core services£30060 months

Tenants do not generate Customer Bonus. Residual income on tenants starts from month one after go-live.

Insurance does not generate Customer Bonus. It can generate residual income from month one.

Identity must be verified before CB is paid. Cooling-off cancellations are not paid.

2. Ongoing

Personal Residual Income

Personal Residual Income (PRI) is UW’s share of profit from customers you gathered yourself. It is a percentage of those customers’ bills, so it varies by service, homeowner or tenant, and your status.

Official UW illustration: on average, between £30 and £60 per year from each personally gathered three-core-service customer. That is a plan illustration, not a promise.

Headline PRI rates in the current guide include 4% on qualifying broadband, 2.5% on homeowner energy usage, 4% on listed insurance products, and lower rates on some telephony elements. Plus Club membership can add an uplift on PRI once you gather enough personal customers.

Residual income is only payable if you meet the current qualification rules — including QD status, completed training, identity verification, and typically gathering at least one qualifying customer in the previous month.

3. Team

Group Residual Income

Group Residual Income (GRI) is UW’s share of profit from customers gathered by Partners in your team. It is a fixed amount per service, and the rate rises as you are promoted. Partners are not paid simply for recruiting people.

Current full-rate GRI per service runs from 8p at Qualified Distributor through to 13p at National Network Leader, paid down multiple levels at 100%, then 50%, then 25%. Monthly GRI caps apply by status.
